Guy Roames is an American artist, known for his portraits of athletes and celebrities. As a young artist, Roames was primarily into realism. Mostly using charcoal or graphite to achieve outstanding detail. His most recent works are abstract impressionism. Bold, colorful, lots of texture created by palette knife. The focus in this style seems to be less about the subject matter, but more about a combination of things that will determine the energy and attitude of not only the subject, but the overall work itself.
